He was Professor in the Superior School of Education of Viana do Castelo and in the Music Conservatories of Porto and Braga (Portugal) and as a composer he considers himself self-excluded from mafias, power groups and any entity that does not defend the right of creators to live from their work. He is a member of SPA (Portuguese Society of Authors)
Defends the significant form and the aesthetic attitude to fight the empty look that produces the dreamless art of decadence.
